Oakland Athletics manager Bob Melvin informed beat reporters that Edward Mujica will close for the Athletics and new acquisition Aaron Brooks will start for the A's on Saturday. Drew Pomeranz will remain in the bullpen in a setup role. R.J. Alvarez was called up earlier today to take Tyler Clippard's spot in the bullpen.
With Ben Zobrist gone, Oakland's middle infield depth has dwindled to Eric Sogard and Marcus Semien, so Brett Lawrie will get chances at second base with Max Muncy called up to play third base. Muncy is not expected to arrive until the middle of tonight's game, though he is listed on the lineup card.
Coco Crisp continues to rehab with the Stockton Ports:
Crisp will DH for @stocktonports tonight. He is scheduled for 5 games there.

Melvin held team meeting today. Message -- 3 key players are gone and it hurts. But still gotta focus on each day's game. #Athletics
