Game Thread #92: Oakland Athletics vs. Minnesota Twins

Tonight's Friday night, welcome back to baseball game will be hosted at home for the A's, facing off against the Twins. Sonny Gray will be on the mound for the green and gold, while Ervin Santana takes the mound for the Twins.

Happy Friday and welcome back to baseball! After a successful All Star break that saw two A's players suit up, and one play, Sonny Gray will take the mound tonight against Ervin Santana, trying to continue the A's winning ways after their recent series win against Cleveland.

This is absolutely the A's last chance to get back in the race. The next two weeks will tell us a lot about how the rest of the season will go, and if the A's have any hope of competing much past this month.

The A's are putting a good lineup out there, and if Sonny is anywhere as awesome as he was his last start, the A's offense will need to scratch just a couple of runs across for him.
