MLB Home Run Derby 2015 (more like Home Rain Derby, right? Right? Where are you going?)

A hopefully faster paced home run derby is in store tonight as the All-Star Game tries to improve on the annual event's plodding pace as well as beat incoming rain.

Another year, another home run derby, but this one is missing back-to-back defender Yoenis Cespedes. Tonight's contest is an eight-man bracket with new rules based on the clock rather than on number of outs. Further changes were made today due to the possibility of rain late in the evening to improve the pace of play.

The festivities begin on ESPN at 5:00 PM Pacific Time.
