It seems to be one step forward, two steps back for our fearless heroes, who finally pulled to within ten games of .500 with a series of good play last week, but they collapsed in a big way over the weekend behind a painful sweep by the Boston Red Sox. Sonny Gray, a bright spot in a dismal 2015 campaign so far, will try to right the ship in tonight's start.

Good evening and welcome to A's baseball at home! The A's haven't played well at home so far this early season, but there is still time to turn it around, and with the next few series against the Angels and the Rangers, this might be their last chance to turn the season around.

Tonight's game will feature Sonny Gray, who is having a terrific season and is the current MLB ERA leader, against Nick Martinez, who started the season well, but has struggled lately.
