Gamethread #49: Oakland A's vs. Detroit Tigers

I hope you've recovered after yesterday's horribly disappointing game, and ready for some day baseball.

Today's matchup Scott Kazmir (2-3, 3.09) vs. the Tigers bullpen, starting with Alex Wilson (1-1, 2.29). The reasonWilson's line looks so good is that he hasn't started a game this year for the Tigers – in fact, this is his first MLB start of his career. Kyle Ryan was scheduled to start, but couldn't make it from the Tigers' AAA affiliate in Louisville in time. Expect to see him at some point, but in the meantime, this is a bullpen game for the Tigers.
