Coming off the club's 11th bullpen loss, the 13-24 Oakland Athletics will try to win just one game tonight against the 15-17 Chicago White Sox. First pitch is at 6:05 PM to accommodate tonight's superhero-themed fireworks show that follows the game.

Tonight's lineup moves Coco Crisp to the seventh spot in the order for the first time in nearly two years, while Stephen Vogt makes his first start since Thursday. It's anticipated he will be in tomorrow's day game against Chicago right-hander Jeff Samardzija as well. Billy Burns will lead off with Marcus Semien batting second.

Jesse Chavez makes his fifth start of the year for the Athletics. In four starts, Chavez is enjoying a 3.24 ERA, giving up one, four, zero, and four earned runs in each of those respective starts. In each of his last two starts, he has struck out seven batters.

Opposing Chavez for Chicago is John Danks, sporting a 5.12 ERA. Danks is coming off a one-run, seven-inning performance, but it was just his second quality start in six tries. May 3 against the Minnesota Twins, Danks gave up eight hits and seven runs (three earned) and could not get out of the third inning.

It's the A's and White Sox on CSN California and the Oakland Athletics Radio Network, coming up!
