Game Thread #15: Oakland Athletics at Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim

Hopefully Royalsgate is over for the near future, as the A's got back on track with a win last night and will look for another today against the division rival Angels. None of the American League West is lighting the scoreboard on fire so far this young season, so the A's 7-7 record puts them just a half game out of first behind the Astros.

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

Good evening and welcome to another night of California baseball! The A's look to make it two in a row as they try to earn at least a series split against the Angels tonight after they took the first game of the series in a moderate-stress game that went down to the tying run last night.

Drew Pomeranz will take the mound for the A's in his third start of the year, facing the Angels' Hector Santiago. Both pitchers are left-handed, both are 1-1 with a similar ERA and both would like to have a good start. The A's have deployed their "lefty lineup", and Canha is still batting second. Last night's hero, IBISV, will be playing first base instead of catching. Zobrist will be out of the lineup at least until Thursday.

Here are your lineups:
