Spring game thread #32: Los Angeles Angels vs. Oakland A's - Goodbye Arizona

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

Today our Oakland A's say goodbye to Arizona for another 11 months. They leave with the best Cactus League record secured. Injuries to Coco Crisp and Josh Reddick have pushed this game further down into the depths of completely meaningless. Eric Sogard, Tyler Ladendorf, and yes BILLY BURNS will all most likely make the opening day roster.

The only battle remaining is the 5th starter slot. Now that the real Barry Zito has cemented his spot in some other team's rotation, only two contenders remain. Jesse Chavez needs to pitch a gem today if he wants to push Drew Pomeranz into the bullpen.

Jesse will get his chance against the LA Slegna of Anaheim, who yesterday sent one of three rotation candidates packing for Texas or maybe Philly. Can they do it again today?
