Oakland A's injury updates: Coco Crisp MRI reveals no structural damage

After initial x-rays returned inconclusive, an MRI on Oakland Athletics outfielder Coco Crisp's right lower triceps revealed no structural damage, tweets MLB.com's Jane Lee. Crisp will be out for the next few days, and Ben Zobrist will start in right field for Wednesday's game against the Cleveland Indians. Crisp was removed from last Sunday's game after experiencing elbow soreness.

Jarrod Parker will face hitters

Starting pitcher Jarrod Parker, rehabilitating from Tommy John surgery, will face live hitting for the first time after passing a bullpen test on Tuesday, tweets the Bay Area News Group's Carl Steward.

Stephen Vogt fine after catching Monday

Stephen Vogt experienced no issues catching three innings against the Texas Rangerswrites Jane Lee for mlb.com. Today, Vogt told Carl Steward of the Bay Area News Group that "he's well on track to catch nine innings soon." Vogt will catch five innings on Wednesday, says manager Bob Melvin.
