Comcast Sportsnet California announced that former A's third baseman Eric Chavez will join the broadcast booth for 20 televised games this year as color commentator. Chavez will additionally have a role as a studio analyst for some A's pre- and post-game shows. Chavez's first game as color commentator will come Friday, April 24 when the A's host the Houston Astros.

Ray Fosse will continue as the main color commentator, broadcasting 126 games on CSN California in 2015. Typically, Fosse joins Ken Korach and Vince Cotroneo on the Oakland Athletics Radio Network on radio-only days or when an alternate color commentator is in the television booth. Shooty Babbitt and Scott Hatteberg have previously been CSN's alternate color commentator.

Chavez joins Shooty Babbitt and Bip Roberts as rotating studio analysts for A's Pregame Live and A's Postgame Live programs.
