If Bob Melvin Isn't the Manager who Would You want to Replace Him?

Alex Hall makes his weekly appearance on the Phil Naessens Show and answer a listeners question about Bob Melvin and who they would like to see replace him in the event that he suddenly leaves.

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Hey Athletics Nation!

Alex made his weekly appearance on my show today ( segment 2 at the10:20 mark or so) and we answered the following question from the listening audience.

If Bob Melvin were to suddenly retire or need to leave his Managerial job who would you like to replace him?

To the best of my knowledge Bob Melvin isn't going anywhere so you can rest easy.....we're just speculating here.

As you can imagine the Athletics job isn't the easiest one in baseball.....and it would take a special person to do the job well.

Maybe you'll be interested in our discussion on who we would like to see replace Melvin but I'm more interested in who you think would make a suitable replacement for Melvin.

So Athletics Nation; in the event that Bob Melvin is no longer managing the A's who would you like to see replace him?

As I said before Alex was on the second segment of the show. Leading off we talked about the Winnipeg Jets trading Evander Kane, then Alex followed by Fantasy Baseball, the Chicago Cubs and New York Mets......I'll leave the player below or you can visit my site to download the show.
