Over the last two weeks, we've been holding a FanPost contest. Eight community members submitted posts about their favorite Oakland Coliseum memories, and now we are ready to pick the best of the best. In the poll below, you will find the five entries that earned the most Rec's from the community, and the final step is for you to vote for your single favorite out of these five. The winner will receive a free copy of the Oakland Coliseum blueprint artwork poster from Ballpark Blueprints, pictured at the bottom of this post.
Here are the finalists (click here to see all the posts):
- Taj Adib: The Great Coliseum Capn' Caper (Link)
- martini_momo: There's No Place Like Home (Link)
- Dandude: The End of a Long Losing Streak (Link)
- goldenbearboy: Three-hour friendships in the Bleachers (Link)
- downtheline: To Catch A Homer (Link)
And now it's your turn! Take a look at these posts and pick your favorite. It's nearly January, which means you haven't watched baseball in a couple months and won't for still a couple more months, so let these memories wash over you. Take a journey back to warmer seasons, playoff races, past stars, and old friends, right now in the middle of December.
And then vote for your favorite in the poll below. Poll closes at 5:00 p.m. PT on Wed., Dec. 30. If it's tied at 5:00, then voting extends for one hour, repeatedly if needed until there is a winner at the end of an hour.
And hey, Ballpark Blueprints is running a New Years Eve sale too!
