Just for fun, and because I want to figure out whom to root for, I decided to put together a lineup using only players in this year's playoffs who used to be on our Green & Gold. Apart from holes at catcher and closer, and a shaky outfield defense, it's a good unit.

I know this is a twisted form of torture for A's fans, but what if we had a different kind of ownership, who would pay for this kind of team... my lunch break isn't long enough to calculate it, but I'd guess this is not an outrageously expensive big league roster. Toss in Stephen Vogt at catcher, and I think it'd be tough to beat!
