Alberto Callaspo is playing first base today.
Yeah, whatever, baseball, woo.
You all know what happened yesterday so I'm not going to recap what's already been recapped/burned into your memories. Man. Baseball.
Sonny Gray's (13-8, 3.18) been excellent after losses this year, so there's that. He's a fantastic stopper, has the bulldog mentality, all that. The way the A's are going, I fully expect him to give up 17 runs.
Nick Martinez (3-11, 4.93) is a good pitcher to try to regain some mojo against, I guess. He's 23 and was called up from AA in the beginning of the season because the Rangers pitching staff is where pitchers go to die, and a 23 year old marginal AA player was the best they could come up with.
Here's the lineups. Featuring first baseman, Alberto Callaspo. Because first baseman Adam Rosales was so embarrassing for the Rangers, and the 2014 A's will never get out-embarrassed. Never.
Man, just like. Don't get swept. Please.
Go A's?
