That privilege is reserved for Geovany Soto. One can only imagine that Jeff Samardzija threatened to strike if he didn't have a different catcher.
Speaking of Samardzija, he's going to try to out-duel Derek Holland as the A's offense will try to score enough runs to win a baseball game. It's apparently incredibly hard. Twelve games to go. The A's, incredibly, improbably, fantastically, but not magically, are somehow still in this race. I know, I know. We're losing faithful members by the day, but let's be honest, what do you really have to do for the next twelve games. Come for the circus, stay for the pie.
