The worst part about the A's playing in the morning is that you can't even get suitably drunk to tolerate it.
Welcome to another day of A's baseball and, sigh, whatever.
We've got a pretty fantastic pitching matchup on paper today, with Scott Kazmir (14-7, 3.42) going against Chris Sale (11-3, 2.09). Well, it would've been a fantastic pitching matchup before Kazmir's unfortunate late season collapse, but if there's any team that he could rebound against, it's the White Sox. Despite MVP candidate and inevitable ROY Jose Abreu, they're 13th in runs scored in the AL. That's a good sign, right? That matters, right??
Ugh, whatever. Baseball sucks. Here are the lineups, featuring everyone's favorite "2B".
