We open a new thread for the top of the fourth. It sure beats nine-up-and-nine-down, but so far the Athletics have seen Josh Reddick picked off first base on a questionable balk no-call, and Eric Sogard stranded at third base when Coco Crisp bunted a pop-out to the pitcher and John Jaso grounded out to first. The Braves picked up their two runs in the first inning when Sonny Gray allowed (1) a Freddie Freeman double just over the first base bag just past Stephen Vogt to score Phil Gosselin, and (2) a Chris Johnson bloop single to Freddie Freeman.
On the bright side, Sonny has retired seven in a row now.
