You know how when you get a new toy you just want to play with it all the time? This morning I finally learned how to use what AN is calling "the sarcasm font" and now I just want to use it constantly. However, since I have yet to master it in posts, for now I shall use italics instead.

Last night, as Manny Machado was really acting like an adult, the A's kept tagging out the winning run at the plate until they could calmly win 4-3 in 11 innings. You pout, we win: Works for me. Now we will see if it's over with and done or whether we can be blessed with more distraction from the game of baseball.

Assuming we can focus on the actual game, Sonny Gray gets the ball for Oakland against RHP Kevin Gausman, who will take a break from being a household name to pitch for the Orioles. With Toronto having lost earlier today, at 38-23 the A's boast the American League's best record entering tonight's game.
