A's vs Mariners "Tarpout" Rescheduled for May 7 Traditional Doubleheader

The Oakland Athletics game postponed due to the failure to cover the infield for overnight rains has been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 7 as a traditional, single-admission doubleheader beginning at 12:35 pm. The second game will begin thirty minutes after the completion of the first.

Tickets dated April 4 are not valid for the doubleheader, but fans may exchange those tickets in person or by mail for credit for a future Athletics home game. Season ticket holders will have their accounts automatically credited for future ticket value. Fans already holding tickets dated May 7 will now use those tickets for the doubleheader.

In addition, the Athletics have also announced, as a make-good to fans holding April 4 tickets, that they are offering four complimentary tickets to the Seattle series for each account holder, May 5-7. Season ticket holders may redeem this offer through their My A's Tickets account. Others should watch their emails for how to redeem. The deadline for redemption is Wednesday, April 30.

NOTE FROM NICO: I just want to publicly commend the A's for stepping up and properly making good to the fans who had tickets to the April 4th game. Well done, A's P.R. department! -Nico
