There's Never a Dull Moment with the Oakland Athletics

There is never a dull moment with the Oakland Athletics.

That was my reply to a potential network interested in syndicating my show yesterday. They were curious as to why I would want to talk about a small market team when there are other teams with larger fan bases and more potential listeners.

I do several other weekly reports and sometimes it’s difficult to find stuff to talk about in the offseason. That has never been the case with the Oakland A’s.

There is never a dull moment and there is always something fresh to talk about 52 weeks of the year.

As a baseball fan watching Billy Beane operate is just fascinating to me. I’d hate to play Fantasy Baseball with the guy. There’s no hesitation in pulling the trigger whatsoever with Billy Beane.

I’m really curious as to what he’s going to do next. He’s got plenty of wiggle room financially and like Alex said on today’s show there’s financial flexibility to make a couple more deals.
