Pitchers and catchers will report for spring training on February 19, with other players reporting on February 24. The Athletics open the spring schedule against the San Francisco Giants on March 3 at 12:05 PM Pacific Standard Time/1:05 PM Mountain Standard Time at their new home in Mesa, Arizona, a renovated 10,000-seat Hohokam Stadium. The A's signed a 20-year agreement with the City of Mesa to train there beginning in 2015.
Ticket prices for spring games will be dynamically priced, but the base price will be between $9 lawn seating and $30 infield box seating.
The City of Mesa and the Athletics have also announced they will stage an open house for fans on Saturday, February 21 with free admission to view the renovated stadium and a team workout.
Spring training will conclude with the traditional exhibition Bay Bridge Series played between the Coliseum and AT&T Park. While the sites have yet to be determined, the Coliseum will likely host two out of three games, as AT&T Park hosted two games last March.
