Today was a great day, and not just because the A's won to move to within 1 game of 1st place. Earlier today I ordered a copy of Ken Korach's newly released book, Holy Toledo: Lessons From Bill King, Renaissance Man Of The Mic. {Note: Because the title is long, I will heretofore refer to Holy Toledo: Lessons From Bill King, Renaissance Man Of The Mic either as "Holy Toledo..." or as "Ken's book".}
Ken's book is now available on amazon.com, but if you do a search for "Holy Toledo," make sure not to get confused and order the first selection listed, which is Holy Toledo And The Virgin Shirley. Ken did not write this book, and based on the description I am very confident that Bill King is not ever mentioned. At least for his sake, I hope not.
Just f everyone's i, I have also arranged with Ken to interview him about the book once I have received and read Holy Toledo... Given my reading speed, and the fact that I should be receiving my copy on Wednesday, you can look for that interview right around February, 2021. I kid, I kid. (But if it does take me that long, isn't it nice to know that Albert Pujols will still be under contract with the Angels?)
However, having not yet received or read the book I can tell you that it is fantastic and that you should order it with alacrity. Or possibly with a latte. The point is, it's available for purchase and if you loved Bill King half as much as I did, then I loved Bill twice as much as you did. But this is not a math lesson, so stop reading this (if you haven't already) and go order the book!
