A's acquire Alberto Callaspo from Angels

Further, it appears Callaspo will play 2B, likely signaling a return to AAA for Adam Rosales. Callaspo is having a down year, only a 90 wRC+, and slightly below-average defense at 3B. That said, he can play multiple INF positions, switch-hits, and is signed for a reasonable $4.9M for next year.

Grant Green was hitless in his brief MLB stint this year. With Howie Kendrick still manning 2B, it's unclear whether the Angels are in full fire-sale mode or if Green will stay in AAA with them.
