Game Thread #93: Oakland Athletics vs. Boston Red Sox (3)

Well the bad news is that the A's don't have a hit. The good news is that they have put two men on base in the second and the fourth. And more bad news; they couldn't score any of them. And more good news; after their Bad News Bears second inning, the A's have looked great in the field, and Parker has set down 10 in a row. Despite (or maybe because) Parker knocked C.B. Bucknor out of the game, the strike zone has been very "Red Sox", and even though he's throwing a no-hitter, there is no way Lackey pitches the whole game. He's over 75 pitches in the fifth. We go to the 5th; 2-0 Boston.
