Game Thread #64: Oakland Athletics at Chicago White Sox

The little engine that could is playing like the freight train that cannot be stopped as the A's have guaranteed a split in this weekend series, and look to secure the series win today. Tommy Milone, who we can only imagine is sad about starting in an AL park, will be just pitching today, looking for his fourth straight win, and the A's fourth straight win as well.

USA TODAY Sports

Hello and a happy summer Saturday to you and yours. We're coming at you again from Chicago as your first-place 2013 Oakland Athletics look to remain in the top spot in the AL West with a win today. Over in Toronto, the Rangers tied the game at 3 in the ninth, and they're playing bonus baseball. Meanwhile, the A's and White Sox are about to take the field; the A's looking to ride Tommy Milone to yet another series victory.

John Danks will be starting for the White Sox today, and he has historically been tough against the A's. Today's lineup features two lefties, as Smith will join Reddick against Danks. Adam Rosales will be in the shortstop role again, putting Lowrie at second, and Norris will be doing our catching.

Isn't baseball fun? Let's keep this party going!
