Today's starting lineups are out. Josh Reddick gets the day off in favor of Seth Smith. For Milwaukee, Ryan Braun has the day off. Logan Schafer will play left. Last night's hero, Yuniesky Betancourt, is starting at first base while Juan Francisco will play his natural position at third.

In non-A's news, Chris Perez is being investigated for drug possession.

John Hickey takes a look at the Biogenesis scandal and how it could affect the A's.

Brew Crew Ball looks at the Ryan Braun portion of the Biogenesis story.

Grantland's Jonah Keri is also writing about Biogenesis.

Rob Neyer brings us a very well-written piece on what else? Biogenesis, of course. Definitely worth a read.

On this day a year ago, Derek Holland defeated Travis Blackley, dropping the A's to a record of 24-32.
