Game Thread #58: Oakland Athletics vs. Chicago White Sox

Break out the brooms again! The A's have already won the series and will go for the sweep today behind Jarrod Parker. Standing in their way is a very good pitcher in Chris Sale, so the A's will have their work cut out for them. A's. White Sox. Let's go!

Are you ready, Oakland?! Your red-hot Oakland Athletics, winners of their last 13 of 15, a season-high nine games over the .500 mark, a mere two games behind the Division lead, and the leaders of the first Wild Card, will attempt another sweep at the rockin' Coliseum on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

As well as the A's have been playing, they will certainly have to earn this one. Chris Sale hasn't allowed a run in his last 16 2/3 innings. On the other side of the mound, Jarrod Parker has turned his whole season around, and is now one of the A's better starters.

Coco Crisp is back; leading off today's game for the A's lineup, which is obviously dominated by right-handed hitters. The only exception is Josh Reddick, who knocked in the winning run in Friday's contest, and walked in the winning run in yesterday's walk-off win. We'll keep him.

Here are your lineups for today's game:

LET'S GO OAK-LAND!
