Despite no longer being the hottest team in baseball (that honor is shared between the Padres and Blue Jays), the humble A's train keeps on chugging. Now sitting at 3 games ahead of the second-place Rangers, they will attempt to widen it to 4 tonight. This would not only secure at least a series tie, but also secure a three-game advantage when the team leaves town on Thursday afternoon.
