A reliable source for A's-Giants T-Rights has the news:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Wow - I guess the s#$% is really hitting the fan. San Jose City Council votes to sue MLB for refusing Oakland A's sought-after move</p>— Eric Fisher (@EricFisherSBJ) <a href="https://twitter.com/EricFisherSBJ/statuses/347050422764183552">June 18, 2013</a></blockquote>
<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Also, naturally:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>A's owner Lew Wolff: "I have no details. However, I'm not in favor of legal action or legal threats to solve business issues."</p>— John Woolfolk (@JohnWoolfolk1) <a href="https://twitter.com/JohnWoolfolk1/statuses/347060237271965696">June 18, 2013</a></blockquote>
<script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>MLB: no comment on San Jose suit</p>— Eric Fisher (@EricFisherSBJ) <a href="https://twitter.com/EricFisherSBJ/statuses/347059900532269056">June 18, 2013</a></blockquote>

Indeed, things are changing in this landscape. We have no idea whether the recent sewage incident precipitated this, or whether this was planned long before. Also, we don't know whether Lew Wolff is truly behind this, or this is San Jose acting on its own.
As an A's blog, we have no official position on where the A's play. Rest assured, however, that we will have coverage on these machinations as they become public. All we ask is that the conversation remains as respectful as possible given the emotions involved in all this.
Dump away!
