Game Thread #35: Oakland Athletics at Cleveland Indians

After a wonderful series in New York, the A's have lost some air out of the winning balloon as they fell flat in Cleveland, losing the first two of the series. Now they try to spark some offense (despite missing key players) to back up Griffin's pitching to win a game today.

Good afternoon, and welcome to another night of Oakland A's baseball, the baseball where you're never sure what you're going to get day to day. The good news is that the rest of the AL West has hopped aboard the struggle-bus with the A's, but that's not going to last forever, and if the A's want to be a contending team this year, they should find a way to put pitching together with offense in the same game. Let's try it tonight as A.J. Griffin takes the mound against the Indians' Justin Masterson.
