Reddick Headed To DL, Barton Headed To Cleveland

To play for the A's, that is. Susan Slusser is reporting that Josh Reddick will join Coco Crisp, Chris Young, and Brett Anderson on the 15-day DL and that Daric Barton will be called up to take his spot on the roster. This likely means Moss will play a lot of RF the next 2 weeks, alongside Seth Smith and Yoenis Cespedes.

Barton is not on the 40 man roster, so this means the A's will need to clear a spot on the 40-man to make room for Barton. So goodbye...Who? (Update: It has been pointed out that "Norberto to the 60 day DL" is a strong possibility that would not require anyone to be removed entirely due to this move.)
