Game #33: A's at Indians

The A's take on the Indians in the first of four games. Let's do this!

Nick Laham

Welcome to another edition of A's baseball! I will be your host for tonight. By the way, today's game is free to watch on MLB.com (if you don't live in Oakland's or Cleveland's expansive local blackout areas).

The last time the A's played a 4 game set in Cleveland, very very good things happened. I call it the...CLEVE-TOWN BEATDOWN.

Don't all cringe at once.

Anyways, August 27-30, 2012 were fun times as A's fans:

Athletics Indians
Wins 4 (2 shutouts) 0
Runs Scored 30 11
Hits 46 27
Home Runs 8 2

For good measure, they followed that up with a 20-2 demolition of the Boston Red Sox in Oakland. Safe to say, we're hoping for more of the same.

Tonight's matchup features two supposedly good starters with ERAs over 7: Jarrod Parker and Ubaldo Jimenez. Of course, Ubaldo is a lot older and has looked bad for a lot longer, quite a different situation from Parker's early sophomore slump.

Here are your lineups:

Say it with me...CLEVE-TOWN BEATDOWN!

YOU'RE WELCOME!
