Game Thread #44: Oakland Athletics vs. Kansas City Royals

The A's try to win the weekend series and get back to .500 as Tommy Milone takes the mound tonight, looking to repeat the performance by Parker last night. The A's welcome back Chris Young as they get another piece back into the lineup.

Well, if you didn't read the A's news today, you will notice that the A's brought up Chris Young, who will be in the lineup today. They have DFA'd Daric Barton again for the roster space.

Tommy Milone will be on the mound tonight, following Parker's brilliant start last night. The A's haven't had back-to-back quality starts very often this season, so it would be nice if our pitching could get on a roll. Milone has gone deeper into games probably more than any other A's starter, so he's a good candidate to start a small A's winning streak.

The A's offense will be facing Ervin Santana, who is off to a good start in the 2013 campaign, so like last night, the A's offense will have to earn a win.
