I've created this video showing the evolution of the iconic A's logo since 1901. The old english A that first appeared in 1902 and is still used on the caps and alternate gold jerseys is the oldest continuous logo motif in Major League Baseball. The Detroit Tigers didn't start using their old english D until 1904, the Yankees didn't adopt the interlocking NY until 1913 and the Red Sox didn't adopt the serif B until 1933.
