I'll accept the homerun from Torii Hunter. I'll even accept the homerun from Prince Fielder. But Jhonny Peralta? Unacceptable. After the A's scratched a perfectly good run off Verlander, Brett Anderson imploded, allowing 5 runs on 3 homeruns. We go to the bottom of the fourth; the A's trailing 5-1. It's not looking good.
