It has been awhile since the A's have won their home opener at the Coliseum. And part of that is due to the fact that Felix Hernandez signed a big multi-year contract with the Mariners, who was ensured my the Mariners an opening season start against Oakland. (I could be wrong and probably am, but I really can't think of any other explanation at this point).
Seattle has put up mediocore lineups year after year and still somehow, has been able to defeat the A's. Although with the addition of Kendrys Morales, Jason Bay, and returning veteran Raul Ibanez, does Oakland have a chance to end the streak this year?
Since this is a bit of a shorter post here are the two lineups for Opening Night. Please discuss and let me know what you think! I'll be at the game so lets support our boys in the green and gold, rallying like it's the postseason again!
