Here is your place to discuss today's moves.  It's not even 9 AM there is still time for Billy Beane to pull up to the free agent buffet yet today.

First, we have the Mariners improving to 78 wins or so by signing Cano:

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>deal for cano and mariners is $240M, 10 years according to <a href="https://twitter.com/Enrique_Rojas1">@Enrique_Rojas1</a>. can confirm it&#39;s agreed to.</p>&mdash; Jon Heyman (@JonHeymanCBS) <a href="https://twitter.com/JonHeymanCBS/statuses/408989097508601857">December 6, 2013</a></blockquote>

Then, we have the Astros loading up for the future in which they are competitive (but not in 2014):

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Source: Feldman agrees with <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Astros&amp;src=hash">#Astros</a>, three years, $30 million, pending physical.</p>&mdash; Ken Rosenthal (@Ken_Rosenthal) <a href="https://twitter.com/Ken_Rosenthal/statuses/409000632906162176">December 6, 2013</a></blockquote>

Wow on the last one mostly.  Personally, I'd rather have Kazmir for $22M (I know, right?!?) than Feldman for $30M.  Way more upside with Kazmir.

What do you guys think of these moves?
