There is also this, which actually came out first this morning:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p>Hearing Oakland is third team involved in Reds-Rays deal. This should be fun.</p>— Will Carroll (@injuryexpert) <a href="https://twitter.com/injuryexpert/statuses/407937056480849921">December 3, 2013</a></blockquote>

As Rosenthal later said, this definitely puts the A's in win-now mode, having traded away any significant prospect whose name isn't Addison Russell or already in the majors. It is unclear how the A's would be involved in a trade that was originally Reds-Rays only and involved Ryan Hanigan.
Update: the A's have confirmed the trade
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Athletics&src=hash">#Athletics</a> acquire OF Craig Gentry and RHP Josh Lindblom from <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23Rangers&src=hash">#Rangers</a> for OF Michael Choice and minor league IF Chris Bostick</p>— Oakland Athletics (@Athletics) <a href="https://twitter.com/Athletics/statuses/407944907580399616">December 3, 2013</a></blockquote>
