Good morning, Athletics Nation! Today feels all too familiar -- an ALDS Game 5 against Justin Verlander and the Tigers. In 2011, I watched Detroit celebrate their division title on our field. In 2012, I was at Game 5 and watched Detroit celebrate here yet again. I can't handle doing that three years in a row. I'll be in Section 226, hoping that it's finally my turn to celebrate a postseason moment rather than adding to the list of near misses.

On today's Phil Naessens Show, we preview Game 5, the decision to start Sonny Gray rather than Bartolo Colon, the hot and cold hitters for Oakland, and our picks to win the series. My segment starts at 19:00 and goes for about 17 minutes.

Give it a listen and leave your feedback in the comments!
