Game Thread 130 - A's vs. Tribe

Come on man, I really need this one.
Come on man, I really need this one.

The A's go for the series sweep today (again!) vs. the Indians after a come-from-behind victory last night. For the most part, the A's have taken care of business against the lesser portion of the AL schedule, having won 11 of 13 and 5 straight. For their efforts, they are a full game up in the wild card lead position and find themselves only 4.5 games behind Texas.

Any potential sweep goes through Justin Masterson today, who the A's lit up less than two weeks ago at the Coliseum, at the time also going for the sweep. Jarrod Parker counters him, who looks to repeat his shutout performance from that Sunday afternoon, too.

Here are the lineups - definitely a getaway day lineup for the A's. George Kotteras lives! Yoenis Cespedes gets a DH nod, and Chris Carter gets a full day off.

So, grab some coffee, plop down at your desk, and enjoy morning baseball with me and your blogging friends.
