We've all heard it multiple times, but if the season ended today..............

the 2012 Oakland Athletics would go into the postseason as the holders of the 1st and 2nd wild cards ( Tied with Baltimore at 70- 57).

After a beautiful 2-hit outing from Brett Anderson last night, the A's throw out another lefty in Tommy Milone to try and get his 11th win of the season. Let alone the Indians having the worst record in the majors since the All-Star break, they also have the worst record in the majors against southpaw pitchers, which stands at 14 - 28.

Now the Indians will have to face Milone who pitched one of his best outings of the year as he gave up 5 hits, an earned run, and struck out 5 and walked one, over 8 strong innings against Josh Willingham and the Twins.

The A's will face righty Zach McAllister who has put up a solid season for the struggling Indians. The A's have faced McAllister before as he gave up 8 hits, 4 earned runs, and struck out 6 while walking one over 6 innings in a losing effort.
