After getting shutout by the Kansas City Royals for the MLB leading 11th time, the A's come back to Oakland with hopes of getting back on track. The problem is, they will be facing the Rangers in a 4-game series.

Jarrod Parker gets his 8th start of the season tonight as he looks to continue his great season with a 2.88 earned run average and has only given up one home run in 40.2 innings! That's a .2 HR/9 that will definitely come in handy against arguably the best offense in baseball, the Texas Rangers.

Normally pitching out of the bullpen, starting for the Rangers is Scott Feldman, who is taking Neftali Feliz' rotation spot for the time being as he has been on the DL. As a starter, Feldman has compiled an ERA of 4.76, with only 4.2 SO/9 and 5.29 BB/9 over 4 starts and 17 innings.

The A's have won only 1 game out of their last 10, so if they plan on winning any games against the Rangers, tonight is probably their best chance to get a W.
