The Drew Saga has endedrumors.com/2012/12/red-sox-to-sign-stephen-drew.html, with the Red Sox believing that a year without a Drew is too long, signing the J-less D Drew. According to Jon Heyman, Drew will get $9.5 Million, with 500k in performance bonuses.

What does this mean for the A's? I believe it means that they will need to scramble to sign Hiroyuki Nakajima, who might be the last decent SS on the free agent market. They could also try targeting Astrubal Cabrera, who's price tag is likely to be very high, or Jed Lowrie, who's health is likely to be very low.
