Here's to running our losing streak to nine in a row. Both Brett Anderson and Mark Ellis have been place on the DL, and instead of leading off, Jemile Weeks has been moved to 9th. That's probably better. He's still looking for his first hit of his career.
MLB.com isn't even trying anymore, calling the A's current slump "inexplicable". I would say that most of AN could explain the A's slump, but probably not in words that could be published. Nevertheless, we have to play the games. Sigh. Josh Outman will face off against Cy Young tonight. Because that's the truth. It doesn't seem to matter who the A's face.
