Open Thread: Game 82 - A's Sans Mark Ellis vs. Marlins

Amidst news that their longest tenured player has been traded to the Rockies, the A's begin the second half of the season, and the beginning of the post-Mark-Ellis era this afternoon. Trevor Cahill tries to give the A's a series win against a Marlins team that is an astounding 4-23 in June even after their win last night.
