Open Thread: Game 57 (New York Yankees at Oakland Athletics)

Well, about all we can hope for is that today's game is better than the previous two. You know the story; the A's finally sell out the ballpark, and they play like _____ (fill in the blank with your favorite negative adjective). The Yankees seem to own the A's lately; the A's don't even put up much of a fight. It's annoying.

Today, it will be Gio Gonzalez's turn to face the hot-hitting lineup, which includes Derek Jeter trying to get closer to 3,000 hits. The A's offense will try its best not to score against RHP A.J. Burnett.

BaseballPress has the lineups; we're ready to go!

LET'S GO OAK-LAND!
