I don't know about you, but I'm barely recovered from the brutal loss that was last night's performance. I was so excited for the season to start, and with the exception of Sunday's game, the A's have made it hard to watch. After fighting against themselves all game yesterday, two pitches from Balfour ensured the A's would get off the field for a quick extra innings loss.
Today, Dallas Braden (we think, but don't quote me on this) will try to earn the A's second win as he faces off against Toronto's Jesse Litsch. It has been rumored (and I believe officially confirmed) that Tyson Ross has flown to Toronto to replace Michael Wuertz in the pen. Note the replacement at third base; LaRoche will take over for Kouzmanoff.
