Open Thread: Game 21 (Oakland Athletics at Seattle Mariners)

Trips ain't good when it is shutouts your counting, and it is against your offense. Cahill will once again lead the A's in their charge for victory, likely praying he gets a run along the way. The A's try again against the Mariners, who throw out Jason Vargas to befuddle us.

Much like the Tigers series which started off with two heartbreaking losses, the A's need to bounce back and start fighting. A split of the series against Seattle would go a lone way to that, and propel us back to .500 and respectability, and more importantly, would prevent us from a) getting swept by a last place team, and b) becoming that last place team.
