Gillette Fan Confidence Poll, Week Two

So...I believe "precipitous" is the word to use here. Or "oh god make it stop". If you haven't noticed, there's a Gillette sponsored poll on the left hand sidebar, which asks fans to vote every week on a scale of 10 to 100 about how confident they feel about their team at this moment. We've spent 2011 consistently in the high 80s and 90s, but...well, ranking 29th out of 30 in errors and runs scored tends to change minds pretty quickly, Kevin Kouzmanoff.

That said, there is a silver lining. The starting pitching has been excellent (league leaders in runs allowed and innings pitched), and the offense should pick up somewhat. And even better, from a fan confidence standpoint? The A's haven't made an error in six straight games, since the ridiculous three two error game on April 5th. That's 58 innings in a row. Not surprisingly, the A's also happen to be riding a three game win streak.

Vote in the poll on the left sidebar, and we'll see how we check up next week.
