So we meet again. The Rays and the A's do it all over again tonight with the pitching duel of Vin Mazzaro against Jeremy Hellickson, who is looking for his fourth win in as many starts. He's 3-0 with a 1.35 ERA, which means the A's should have no problem scoring some runs, right?

Sorry. Where was I? Oh yes, the game. Vin Mazzaro has pitched well, but hasn't really received any run support as of late; he hasn't won a game since July 24th. He's hoping to see a game like last night's.
In other news, the A's placed Conor Jackson on the DL today, recalling Jeff Larish from AAA. In case you're keeping score, that's the 23rd time the A's have used the DL on the season.
